Mr. Durphy offers a free financial consultation to those interested in investing. These consultations typically last from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on your situation. These sessions can be scheduled for an in person meeting at his office in Berkeley or by phone. Saturday appointments are available.
Niehaus Liberty charges a management fee based on a percentage of the value of the assets under management and accepts no commissions or other forms of compensation from investment product providers, financial institutions, or any other third parties. The minimum required to open an account with Niehaus Liberty is $50,000.
The cumulative annual management fee is 1.40% for accounts with $50,000 to $1,000,000; 1.10% for
accounts with $1,000,000 to $3,000,000; the management fee for accounts with assets
above $3,000,000 is negotiable. Accounts with Niehaus Liberty are billed quarterly,
in advance, by taking the value of managed assets on the last business day of the
preceding calendar quarter and applying one-
